Jennifer believes in working with her clients to help them reach their goals and improve their overall quality of life. She utilizes a warm and welcoming approach to therapy and works with her clients to create solutions to the problems they are facing. Jennifer adapts the method of treatment to meet her clients needs. She has experience working with clients facing depression, anxiety, trauma history, low self-esteem, grief and loss, and autism. Angela is passionate about her work; her naturally warm and peaceful energy encourages her clients to feel safe and develop a trusting bond with her. At the same time, her direct and honest approach inspires her clients to take risks and stretch themselves emotionally. She combines her knowledge of best practice and research in order to tailor the therapy to fit each client. She is especially skilled at dealing with a variety of relationship issues, including parent- child, romantic, and workplace relationships; working closely with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. Treatment areas include a range of issues including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress management, LGBT, self-esteem, health and illness (specialty areas are cancer and HIV), grief and loss, with many years of experience in community/medical mental health and private practice.
